Government Projects
OS Tree Services have a number of long-term contracts to provide resources to assist with vegetation management around government-owned assets, including:

Vegetation management services
Land clearing involves removing unwanted vegetation and materials to prepare areas for development or other uses. It plays a crucial role in infrastructure development and environmental management. Land clearing is the process of removing trees, plants, and other vegetation to make way for new construction, agricultural use, or to reduce fuel loads in wildfire-prone areas. It involves cutting down trees, removing stumps and roots, and can be quite hazardous due to the heavy equipment and sharp blades involved. O. S. Trees has equipment including horizontal grinder, mega muncher and 30ton harvester to complete these services.
Roadside Clearing
OS Tree Services have completed roadside vegetation management for multiple clients, including the Roads and Maritime Service, TransGrid, Country Rail Network and multiple councils across the Central West. The works are generally required to provide adequate vegetation clearance from traffic lanes, as well as a line of sight along roadsides to meet safety requirements.
Stump Grinding & Emergency/Storm Damage Works.
Part of our services include stump grinding, generated as part of our tree removal works, or as stand-alone jobs. We have stump grinders of various sizes to suit most applications and locations, to complete small to large jobs alike. Please give us a call to discuss your needs.
Mulching & Firewood
As part of our trimming and removal activities, we generate bi-products including mulch and firewood. With OS Tree Services' focus on environmental management, we are committed to recycling as much of our production bi-products as possible because it makes good ecological sense.
